1. Who we are
ALC Invites (the "Service") is operated by ALC digital products ("we", "us", "our"), the seller of the digital products and subscriptions offered through this website. By using the Service you are contracting with ALC digital products.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by any policies referenced in them (including the Refund Policy and Privacy Notice). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
3. The Service
ALC Invites lets you customise digital wedding invitation templates, share them by link, and manage related tools such as RSVPs, budget, seating and guest photos. We offer:
- Single Invitation — one-time purchase for a single invitation.
- Studio — annual subscription including 5 invitations, with the option to purchase additional invitations.
- Extra Invitation — one-time add-on for Studio subscribers.
- Custom Design — bespoke design service, quoted separately.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be of legal age in your country to enter into a binding contract.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or to send spam;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- upload malware or attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the Service;
- probe, scan, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service or its templates;
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute templates or generated invitations outside your own event.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including all templates, software, illustrations, animations, and branding, is owned by ALC digital products and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the templates you have purchased for your own personal event, within the limits of your plan. All other rights are reserved.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you upload (photos, names, texts, guest details). You grant us a limited, worldwide licence to host, process and display that content solely to provide the Service to you and your guests. You are responsible for having the rights to the content you upload.
8. Payments, billing and taxes
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment terms, billing frequency, taxes, renewals, cancellations and refunds are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms.
9. Service level
We work hard to keep the Service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from third-party interference. We may perform maintenance and update the Service at any time.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of our acceptable use rules. You may stop using the Service at any time; refunds are governed by our Refund Policy and by Paddle.
11. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose). Our aggregate liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Italian courts, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence.
15. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to our support channel available from your account, or via the contact form on this website.
